Yes. It uses the Web Crypto API (crypto.getRandomValues) for cryptographically secure random number generation. No data leaves your browser.

Entropy measures randomness in bits. Higher bits mean harder to crack. For example, a password with 60 bits of entropy has 2^60 possible combinations. We recommend at least 60 bits for sensitive accounts.

Passphrases (e.g., "correct-horse-battery-staple") are often easier to remember and can be very secure due to length. Use them for master passwords you need to type often.
